Concert at the Dr. Lional Edirisinghe Auditorium

 

We did a concert called THAALAMA for VAPA Television. 

This concert was recorded on December 30,2022 at the Dr. Lional Edirisinghe Auditorium and was broadcast as a program on VAPA Television on January 07,2023.

About 12 students of our batch (20/21) participated in this program. 

We first started THAALAMA as a program to support children with learning equipments needs. We successfully did several programs in different places. 

The experience we gained from those programs helped us to make this program successful.

On this THAALAMA Concert, five members of our group sang for the tunes created by 

Keyboard 

Piano

Drums

Percussion kit

Rhythm Guitar

Lead Guitar

Bass Guitar

Sitar 

Flute

Violin

The program scheduled to be telecast on VAPA Television in every Saturday at 4.30 p.m.

This is how we informed the public about THAALAMA for the first time through VAPA Television.

We were able to get 1000 views within 19 hours after launching THAALAMA program on the VAPA Television YouTube channel.

The best experience I ever got at the beginning of this year was THAALAMA Concert.

No matter how many challenges we face, we hope to continue this program.
