My productive hobby

A routine leisure activity that one engages in for satisfaction is known as a hobby. 

Going off above concept, I made my hobby productive & I'm now using it to make money. Seeing the picture above, some people might have an idea of what my hobby is. 

Yes. I'm an Interior designer.

It started as a hobby. but now it has become a huge part of my life.

The art and technique of improving a building's interior to provide a healthier and more aesthetically pleasant atmosphere for those using the area is known as interior design.

A person who plans, does research, organizes, and supervises such improvement initiatives is known as an interior designer.

By evaluating space needs, deciding on the best furniture placement, and choosing stylistic objects while following to necessary layout, building inspector, and inspection criteria, the interior designer will create useful, secure, and visually beautiful environments.

Those are the seven principles of interior design.

These guidelines were developed to aid in creating aesthetically pleasing interiors with personality.

I was motivated to study interior designing because of my mother's insistence. My mother enrolled me in this course while I was waiting for the results after finishing the advanced level exam. 

At first, I was not much interested in this field. But now after music, my favorite hobby is interior designing.

This field is very valuable for the future. although it is not very popular in Sri Lanka, in western countries they change the interior design of their house every 6 months. It is because of their seasonal difference. Some people in Sri Lanka also have this characteristic that exists in people in western countries. I see, being an interior designer is a very good job because some people don't hesitate to spend a lot of money for that.

Apart from the money factor, interior designing is a job with high self - satisfaction. I think that there is nothing more valuable for a designer than having a high value for a design that is created based on his own abilities. 

I hope to continue this as a hobby, no matter what field I represent in the future.
